Fantastic double-header with a great atmosphere at Sky Stadium over the weekend, what a start to the season…..

The Phoenix Men played out a tough, tight 90 minutes versus 3rd place Western Sydney with former Phoenix coach Marko Rudan coaching them before a mad last few minutes with Kostas Barbarouses and then Ben Old sending the Sky Stadium into delirium for a 2-0 win and the Phoenix Men top for Christmas:

The Phoenix Women played an entertaining but fairly comfortable game versus Newcastle Jets to win 2-0 to go 3rd in the League, highlight for me? Watching Macey Fraser play.
